Dora Chu was supposed to follow her parents into the sciences, YOU know, the normal childhood expectation of “Sweetie, send people to other planets one day.” But Dora already felt like she lived on another planet, so the math didn’t add up. Growing up in Dallas under a strict Asian dad who adored her siblings and “forgot” she existed during dinner, Dora learned early what it meant to feel invisible. Years later, through ministry, healing, and a whole lot of talking back to the voice in her head, she learned how to rewrite her worth from the inside out. Then came NYFW and Paris Haute Couture.
Then came celebrity interviews. Then came Dora realizing that everybody from long time relationships to supermodels to
CFOs, is fighting silent self-doubt. So she created something new: Transformational Comedy, where truth meets laughter, and laughter makes the truth easier to swallow.
